SMC_STOP_FAIL. LOG: Contains the host names of the clients in which the “Symantec Management Client” service refused to stop within reasonable amount of time or error out. This file is present when an incorrect password has been supplied to stop the service if password is required. The other reason could be that the client installation has become corrupt and needs to be troubleshot or the client is timing out due to resource issues.
