Skills and Classifications. Classifications at the commencement of this Agreement shall relate to the responsibilities, skills and range of tasks performed by the employee and shall initially relate to the base pay rate, as adjusted by this Agreement, applicable to the classification prior to the commencement of the Agreement as outlined in the appropriate Schedule.
Skills and Classifications. 62.1 Each job in the structure shall be determined by reference to the Skills Schedule developed, agreed and documented between the parties and attached in Schedule 4.
62.2 The skills schedule has been determined by assessment of skills and tasks relative to that of the skills and tasks of a trades person or their equivalent.
62.3 Employees shall be classified at a particular level of skills by reference to the highest level skill they are expected to exercise in their job, this shall not prevent them exercising skills below the skill point to which they are classified.
62.4 Where for any period an Employee is required to perform a skill or skills of a higher skill level than their own, then they shall be paid in accordance with clause 25 - Higher Duties Allowance, for such performance.
Skills and Classifications. 10.1 Performance of Duties Subject to this Agreement, employees are expected to perform and will be paid for those duties for which they are employed and which are within their competence to perform safely. All employees must be fit and able to carry out the work they perform. Employees required to work in or near the water distribution system must have documentary evidence to prove their ability to swim. Where the work requires it, employees must hold a current driver's licence.
