Skill Assessment Sample Clauses
A Skill Assessment clause establishes the process and criteria for evaluating an individual's or contractor's abilities relevant to a specific role or project. Typically, this clause outlines the methods of assessment, such as tests, interviews, or practical demonstrations, and may specify who conducts the evaluation and the standards that must be met. Its core function is to ensure that only qualified individuals are engaged, thereby reducing the risk of inadequate performance and ensuring project or job requirements are met effectively.
Skill Assessment. Where an employee disagrees with the Employer's assessment of his skill level or classification, the Labour Management Committee will review the area of disagreement and a special subcommittee made up of one representative of the Union and one representative of Management will investigate. Where the subcommittee cannot agree the matter will be dealt with through the grievance and arbitration procedure.
