SITEWORKS Clause Samples
The SITEWORKS clause defines the responsibilities and requirements related to all preparatory and foundational work performed on a construction site before the main building activities begin. This typically includes tasks such as clearing vegetation, grading, excavation, installation of temporary access roads, and setting up site utilities. The clause outlines which party is responsible for these activities, the standards to be met, and any necessary permits or inspections. Its core practical function is to ensure that the site is properly prepared and compliant with regulations, thereby minimizing delays and risks associated with inadequate site preparation.
SITEWORKS. The use of explosives or heavy earth-moving machinery on the house sites or access roads is prohibited.
SITEWORKS. All cutting and filling to be in accordance with the attached engineers recommendations for this site. All benching and controlled filling to be checked by the engineer and a producer statement provided.
a. Topsoil up to 300mm deep will be stripped from the building platform plus an extra 1 metre of width and stockpiled on site if site conditions allow. The cut is to be completed by Builder
b. Excavated material, spoil, etc., to be removed by Owner
c. Trees, etc. to be removed by Owner
d. A general site clean up is included

SITEWORKS. (a) You can ask Bord Gais Networks to carry out Siteworks at the Premises in accordance with the terms of this Customer Contract. We may also ask them to carry out Siteworks at the Premises.
(b) We will promptly inform You (and when appropriate Bord Gais Networks) of the cost and payment terms for the Siteworks.
(c) Subject to Condition 8(a) above, You are responsible for all costs (including VAT) associated with the Siteworks whether requested by You or Us. This includes any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation of Siteworks by You or because of Your default. We may also ask BGN to carry out Siteworks at the Premises such as locking, unlocking, disconnection, reconnection and servicing of the Meter.
(d) You agree to allow Bord Gais Networks authorised personnel, agents or contractors entry to the
SITEWORKS. Dense Bitumen macadam surface to the carspaces at the front of the building and paved roadway also at the front of the building. Dense Bitumen Macadam surface to the road and carspaces at the rear of the building. Precast concrete k▇▇▇▇, Storm and Foul drainage to site as per the Engineers drawing, Landscaping as shown on the Architects drawing.
