Site Studies Clause Samples
The Site Studies clause defines the rights and obligations related to conducting investigations or assessments of a project site before work begins. Typically, it allows one or both parties—often the contractor or developer—to enter the site to perform surveys, soil tests, environmental assessments, or other due diligence activities necessary for planning and design. This clause ensures that all relevant site conditions are understood in advance, helping to prevent unforeseen issues during construction and allocating responsibility for any findings or disruptions caused by these studies.
