Site Lighting. Site Lighting shall be provided on the Lands of the Developer subject to the following conditions: 3.9.1 Lighting shall be directed to driveways, parking areas, loading area, building entrances and walkways and shall be arranged so as to divert the light away from streets, adjacent lots and buildings. 3.9.2 Security lighting for multiple unit dwellings shall be directed to all walkways and parking areas. Freestanding security lighting shall not exceed a height of 18 feet (5.4m). All exterior lighting shall be directed downwards with luminaries shielded to prevent unnecessary glare. 3.9.3 The Developer shall prepare an exterior lighting plan for any multiple unit dwellings and submit it to the Development Officer for review to determine compliance with this Agreement. The lighting plan shall contain, but shall not be limited to, the following: (a) Plans indicating the location on the premises, and the type of illuminating devices, fixtures, lamps, supports, other devices; and (b) The lighting plan shall include certification from a qualified person that the lighting plan meets the requirements of this agreement. 3.9.4 Prior to Occupancy Permits being issued the Developer shall provide to the Development Officer a letter from a qualified person that the installation of lighting meets the requirements of this Agreement;

3.9.2 Security lighting for multiple unit dwellings and Community Commercial uses shall be directed to all walkways and parking areas. Freestanding security lighting shall not exceed a height of 5.4m (18 feet (5.4mfeet). All exterior lighting shall be directed downwards with luminaries shielded to prevent unnecessary glare.
3.9.3 The Developer shall prepare an exterior lighting plan for any multiple unit dwellings Multiple Unit Dwellings, Institutional and Community Commercial or Mixed Use buildings and submit it to the Development Officer for review to determine compliance with this Agreement. The lighting plan shall contain, but shall not be limited to, the following:
(a) Plans indicating the location on the premises, and the type of illuminating devices, fixtures, lamps, supports, other devices; and;
(b) The lighting plan shall include certification from a qualified person that the lighting plan meets the requirements of this agreement.Agreement; and
3.9.4 (c) Prior to Occupancy Permits being issued building occupancy, the Developer shall provide to the Development Officer a letter written confirmation from a qualified person that the installation of lighting meets the requirements of this Agreement;.
