SITE ENGINEER a) Successful Tenderer will have to, before receiving work order, select suitable Engineer to be interviewed by Architect/Consultant/Bank. It will be the responsibility of the selected engineer to ensure that minutes of site meetings are maintained up-to-date. Contractors have to be up-to-date for each site meeting to be held.

SITE ENGINEER. (Full Time)
SITE ENGINEER. The site engineer shall be appointed by the bank. The bank may also determine the number of site engineers and the supporting staff at site notice to assist them and also whether the site engineer shall be temporary or permanent. As for as possible, the site engineer should assume charge of his post before the contractor reports on site of work. Where more than one site engineer is appointed, one of them shall be designated as senior site engineer by the premises and estates department and the other site engineer shall be reporting to the senior site engineer.
SITE ENGINEER. The term ‘Site Engineer’ shall mean the person appointed and paid by the Bank to superintend the work. The contractor shall afford the site engineer every facility and assistance for examining the works and materials and for checking and measuring work and materials. The site engineer shall have no power to revoke, alter, enlarge or relax any requirements of the contractor or to sanction any day work, additions, alterations, deviations or omissions or any extra work whatever, except in so far as such authority may be specially conferred by a written order of the Bank. The site engineer shall have power to give notice to the contractor or to his Xxxxxxx, of non-approval of any work or materials and such work shall be suspended or the use of such materials shall be discontinued until the decision of the employer is obtained. The work will from time to time be examined by the architects, engineer from the premises and estates department of the Bank and the site engineer. But such examination short not in any way exonerate the contractor from the obligation to remedy any detects, which may be found to exist at any stage of the work or after the same is complete. Subject to the limitations of this clause the contractor shall take instructions only from the architects/Bank.

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Project Engineer If the Project has been designed by the Project Engineer, the Project Engineer is to act as the Owner's representative, assumes all duties and responsibilities, and has the rights and authority assigned to Project Engineer in the Contract Documents in connection with completion of the Work all in accordance with the Contract Documents.

  • Architect Engineer shall provide assistance to Owner through the commissioning consultant/agent for the purpose of advising and counseling Owner’s personnel in the usage, operation and maintenance of the building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Engineer The individual or entity named as such in this Agreement.

  • Independent Engineer Contractor shall cooperate with Independent Engineer in the conduct of his or her duties in relation to the Project and the Work, including the duties listed in Attachment CC. No review, approval or disapproval by Independent Engineer shall serve to reduce or limit the liability of Contractor to Owner under this Agreement.

  • Reverse Engineering The Customer must not reverse assemble or reverse compile or directly or indirectly allow or cause a third party to reverse assemble or reverse compile the whole or any part of the software or any products supplied as a part of the Licensed System.

  • Value Engineering The Supplier may prepare, at its own cost, a value engineering proposal at any time during the performance of the contract. The value engineering proposal shall, at a minimum, include the following;

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.
