Common use of Site Content Clause in Contracts

Site Content. (a) The parties shall jointly own (50%/50%) all rights including copyright, in and to the original works created hereunder for the Site including derivative works based on existing works owned by either party. (b) The parties shall jointly own (50%/50%) all rights including copyright in and to the compilation prepared by WNI comprised of the works including code set forth in (a) above. Such jointly owned property is hereinafter referred to as Site Content. (c) WNI shall have the responsibility for registration of the copyright and trademark of the Site Content and Site Name in the United States Copyright Office and Trademark Office and in such other jurisdictions as the parties mutually agree. All such registrations shall be in the names of both parties.
