Common use of Single Days Clause in Contracts

Single Days. The Employer, in its discretion, may allow employees to take single vacation days, provided a request for such a day is made at least two weeks prior to the official posting of time schedule for the period in which the vacation day will be taken. If upon short notice, an employee requests time off, and can be accommodated, and if the employee has vacation time banked, the employee will be required to take such time off as vacation time.
