Common use of Sign-on Clause in Contracts

Sign-on. The Company will pay you a sign-on bonus (the “Sign-on Bonus”) in the amount of $40,000. Should you leave the company voluntarily within one year of your start date, you will be required to repay this bonus, unless this requirement is waived by the CEO based on the terms of your departure.
