Showers. If an incarcerated person has been on suicide precautions for 72 hours and has not been offered a shower, a Qualified Mental Health Professional will document individual reasons why a shower is contraindicated to their mental health. Similarly, if an incarcerated person has been on suicide precautions for longer than 72 hours and has not been offered a shower approximately every two days, a Qualified Mental Health Professional will document individual reasons why a shower is contraindicated to their mental health.
