Short Term Shift Work. 27.6.1 Where special projects require work to be performed outside of the usual spread of hours determined for that work, short term shift work arrangements will be developed following consultation between management, employees and relevant unions.
Short Term Shift Work. In circumstances where ordinary hours of work are worked outside of the ordinary hours to meet the requirements of a Project, for periods of less than 4 shifts the rate of time and half shall apply, provided that the following conditions apply: • Employees are given 24 hours notice of work requirements; • There is a ten-hour break after the completion of rostered work until the commencement of ordinary time otherwise double time shall apply until a ten hour break is taken For the avoidance of doubt, the penalties prescribed by this clause are in lieu of, and not in addition to, any other penalty or loading prescribed by this Agreement.

Short Term Shift Work. (a) In circumstances where ordinary hours of work are worked outside of the ordinary hours to meet the requirements of a project for periods of less than five (5) shifts, the rate of time and a half shall apply for the first two hours and double time thereafter, by where each day stands alone. Provided that the following conditions apply:
(i) Employees are given 48 hours' notice of work requirements, other than in emergencies, or unless otherwise agreed.
(ii) There is a 10 hour break of ordinary time, otherwise double time shall apply until a 10 hour break is taken.
(iii) All overtime shall be paid at the rate of double time.
(b) The consecutive periods of shifts will not be deemed to be broken by any authorised or unauthorised absence or if work is not carried out on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday.
(c) A stand down day at ordinary time will be provided where 48 hours notice is not provided in accordance with clause 14.6(a)(i).
Short Term Shift Work. Where Employees perform shift work on night shift for less than five consecutive shifts, all work will be paid at: • 200% of the ordinary hourly rate if employed on continuous work; • 150% of the ordinary hourly rate for the first two hours and 200% of the ordinary hourly rate thereafter if employed on other shiftwork.
Short Term Shift Work. All ordinary hours of work worked outside the span of hours as prescribed by clause 14.2.4 to meet the requirements of a site or workplace, for periods of less than 4 consecutive shifts, shall be paid for at the rate of time and half, provided that:
(a) FTMs are given 24 hours notice of proposed work requirements; and
(b) Each FTM is afforded a 9.5 hour break after the completion of rostered work on one day until the commencement of ordinary time on the next day. If an FTM is required to return to work before the completion of a 9.5 hour break between shifts, all time worked will be paid for at the rate of double time until the FTM takes a 9.5 hour break.
Short Term Shift Work. The shift arrangements applies to the parties to this agreement, as detailed in schedule 4.
Short Term Shift Work. If the company requires shift work, the people on shift are paid overtime rates for the duration of the job. Short term shift work may be required in the following circumstances: • Shutdown work – Where any work is on the critical path and needs out of hours work to maintain the critical path on the shutdown schedule. The hours to be worked during shutdowns still remains as stated in the annualised income calculation sheets. • Shutdown Commissioning – Where a plant needs to be commissioned after shutdown. • New plant Commissioning – Where a major new piece of equipment or plant are commissioned.
