Short-Term Control. Water heaters will be controlled less than four hours at a time. Customers using this option will receive a monthly billing credit, as provided for in MPS’ Rate Schedule. Water heaters using short-term control must be wired to the main service panel and are not eligible for the dual-fuel rate.
