Common use of Shift vacated Clause in Contracts

Shift vacated. After the schedule has been set, if the shift becomes open prior to or during the calendar year, the shift shall be filled by seniority. If Management chooses to fill the open shift, notification will be put out to the employees regarding the shift opening. Any full-time, non-probationary employee can request the open shift.
