Common use of Shift Scheduling Committee Clause in Contracts

Shift Scheduling Committee. The City and the Union agree to establish a Joint Committee to discuss a “pilot” situation(s) where it might be feasible to schedule into vacant shifts with consideration to placement on the auxiliary seniority list, with the understanding that this would be limited to the initial shift pick and not subsequent changes. The Committee shall be comprised of three (3) members to be appointed by the City and three (3) members to be appointed by the Union.
