Common use of Shared Channels Clause in Contracts

Shared Channels. (a) The following 12.5 kHz bandwidth paired channels with the center frequencies as indicated shall be available for implementation of an Advanced Train Control System (ATCS). These channels are available for each Agency’s use in all areas: • 896.8875 MHz paired with 935.8875 MHz • 896.9375 MHz paired with 935.9375 MHz • 896.9875 MHz paired with 935.9875 MHz • 897.8875 MHz paired with 936.8875 MHz • 897.9375 MHz paired with 936.9375 MHz • 897.9875 MHz paired with 936.9875 MHz The Agencies agree to allow the Association of American Railways (AAR) in the United States and the Railway Association of Canada (RAC) in Canada to coordinate their use of frequencies designated for ATCS in border areas.
