SETTING OF THE WORKS. The Engineer-in-Charge shall submit the information necessary to enable the Contractor to set out the work. The Contractor shall provide all labour and setting out appliances required and set out the work and be responsible for the accuracy of the same. He shall amend at his own cost and to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge any error found at any stage which may arise through inaccurate setting out unless such error is based on incorrect data furnished in writing by the Engineer-in-charge, in which case cost of rectification shall be borne by the Corporation. The Contractor shall protect and preserve all benchmarks used in setting out the works till end of the Defect Liability Period unless the Engineer-in-Charge directs their earlier removal.
