Services ithout compensation. If a fiduciary provides services to a plan without the receipt of compensation or other consideration (other than xxxx- bursement of direct expenses properly and actually incurred in the perform- ance of such services within the mean- ing of § 2550.408c–2(b)(3)), the provision of such services does not, in and of itself, constitute an act described in section 406(b) of the Act. The allowance of a deduction to an employer under section 162 or 212 of the Code for the ex- pense incurred in furnishing office space or services to a plan established or maintained by such employer does not constitute compensation or other consideration.

  • Services and Compensation Consultant agrees to perform for the Company the services described in Exhibit A (the “Services”), and the Company agrees to pay Consultant the compensation described in Exhibit A for Consultant’s performance of the Services.

  • Callout Compensation A regular employee who is called back to work outside their regular working hours shall be compensated for a minimum of three hours at overtime rates. They shall be compensated from the time they leave their home to report for duty until the time they arrive back upon proceeding directly to and from work.

  • Additional Services Compensation Additional Services Compensation shall be the fees determined in accordance with Article 7 to be paid by the Owner to the Professional Consultant in connection with the performance of Additional Services.

  • Overload Compensation ‌ An instructional faculty member may be given overload compensation for additional instructional responsibilities beyond the normal work day or work year. The conditions and compensation of all overload duties shall be established prior to the beginning of additional instructional work. The rate of compensation shall be paid on a prorated salary basis. When calculating the prorated hourly salary under this section, the academic year salary shall be divided by 1344 hours. Faculty members have the option of refusing additional work assignments: when this occurs the rate of compensation will be agreed upon between the employer and the faculty member.

  • Intercarrier Compensation Except as specifically described in this Section, the Agreement does not change or amend applicable intercarrier compensation arrangements (including but not limited to Switched Access, Signaling, or Transit charges) between any parties, including between Qwest and Carriers or IXCs.

  • Extra Compensation 1. CTSO Advisors will be paid twenty-five ($25) per hour (capped at eight (8) hours per day) for non-discretionary CTSO activities (e.g., conferences, conventions, and competitions) involving students on days not scheduled as part of the regular school year calendar.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.
