SERS Sample Clauses

SERS. “SERS” is the Snohomish County Emergency Radio System agency created pursuant to chapters 39.34 and 24.06 RCW and an interlocal agreement effective July 1, 1999, as it may thereafter be amended.
SERS. Effective with Board ratification of this Agreement, the Board will in accordance with SERS and IRS guidelines pay the employee's contribution to SERS by effecting a uniform salary reduction. In order, however, that published salary schedules accurately depict the Board's salary obligations pursuant to this Agreement, all schedules shall set forth the salary which would be in effect but for this SERS provision together with a legend setting forth the fact that there has been a uniform reduction in order to achieve this benefit.
SERS. The Board shall allow payroll deduction to SERS for anyone buying credit with SERS for prior service.

SERS. The Board shall pay directly to the School Employee’s Retirement System (SERS) on behalf of the Treasurer, the employee’s contribution to the SERS and in addition, an amount equal to the employee’s and employer’s SERS share on the total pick up amount to be designated as other earnings with such payments to be made in accordance with rules prescribed by SERS.
SERS. The Board agrees to pay to the State Employment Retirement System all employer contributions on employee earnable compensation pursuant to R.C. 3309.49 for all employees.
SERS. 1. Each support staff's contract shall be restated as consisting of (a) a cash salary component, and (b) a pick-up component, which is equal to the amount of the employee contribution being "picked-up" by the Board of Education on behalf of the employee. 2. The Board of Education will contribute to SERS an amount equal to the employee's required contribution to SERS for the account of each support staff employee. 3. Sick leave, severance, vacation, supplemental, and extended service pay and insurance benefits which are indexed to or otherwise determinable by reference to the employee's rate of pay shall be calculated upon both the cash salary component and pick-up component of the employee's restated salary. 4. In the event that there is a determination that the foregoing adversely affects the qualified status under the Internal Revenue Code of the contributions by the Board, or the picked up contributions or of the SERS retirement plan, this "pick- up" provision shall be null and void.
SERS. The City shall maintain its individual relationship and obligations through its contract with the Snohomish County Emergency Radio System Agency as the provider of purchase and installation of the 800 MHz radio system.
SERS. Educational Institution will make payment for all required contributions to the Ohio State Teachers Retirement System ("STRS") and/or the Ohio School Employees Retirement System ("SERS"), as applicable, with regard to MAXIM Personnel who provide Educational Institution services under this Agreement. MAXIM will provide all necessary payment reports and/or records to Educational Institution to allow for timely and accurate payment of STRS/SERS contributions, and all such payments by Educational Institution shall be deducted from invoices submitted by ▇▇▇▇▇ and paid by Educational Institution.
