Common use of SEQRA Classification Clause in Contracts

SEQRA Classification. The Consultant will assist the Sponsor in complying with SEQRA (6 NYCRR Part 617). The Sponsor is the Lead Agency. Consultant tasks include, but are not limited to: • Drafting letters to involved agencies to determine the lead agency • Drafting Environmental Assessment Form(s) • Drafting a negative declaration • Drafting a positive declaration • Drafting notices The Consultant will document the results of SEQRA processing in the body of the Design Approval Document (DAD) and will include documentation of the final SEQRA determination in the Appendix of the DAD.
