Selection Decision Clause Samples

The Selection Decision clause defines the process and authority by which a party or group chooses among candidates, proposals, or options in a contractual or procedural context. Typically, this clause outlines who has the final say in the selection, the criteria to be used, and any timelines or procedures that must be followed. For example, it may specify that a committee will review bids and select a vendor based on predetermined factors such as price and experience. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and fairness in the decision-making process, reducing disputes and clarifying expectations for all parties involved.
