Selection and Approval. Subject to the COUNTY's personnel and hiring policies, the CAB shall have authority to select and approve the Project Director from the slate of candidates presented by the Search Committee.
Selection and Approval. Each institution will screen exchange student applicants in an appropriate manner, and recommend the most suitable to the partner institution, at least four months prior to their arrival on campus (but see “Housing” below). Recommendations must include the name of the intending exchange student, a proposed course of study, and a transcript. Both the students and the course of study need to be approved, in advance, by both institutions. Coordinators may ask for additional information at any time.
Selection and Approval a. Students may apply to the Program starting the third (3) year of their BS program at NCTU Civil Engineering and must be in good academic standing at the time of application. It is understood that each institution reserves the right to reject candidates. b. NCTU will manage the application process and select Students to be nominated for the Program on an annual basis. Students nominated for the Program will be studying in the Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering, at NCTU, working towards their undergraduate degree. c. Students are expected to meet the relevant graduate admissions criteria set by Structural Engineering and the campus Graduate Division. Students shall submit an application for admission to the Program to the UC San Diego Graduate Division no later than March 15. Application materials are to include: • A Program application; • An official NCTU transcript with a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale; • A statement of purpose essay;
Selection and Approval. Application for sabbatical leave will be reviewed by a committee of teachers and administrators. The committee will include two (2) administrators appointed by the Superintendent and one (1) teacher appointed by the Association. All positive recommendations will be forwarded to the Superintendent and Board for consideration. The applicant will be notified of the recommendation of the committee and the final action of the Board by April 1st. Criteria for selection will be: (a) The value of the proposed plan to the district; and (b) Improvement of the professional service of the applicant.
