Common use of Security Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Security Responsibilities. The Client is responsible for the operation and the security of all el- ements of its computer systems for which the Provider has not ex- pressly accepted responsibility in writing. The Client shall implement suitable security measures in organisational and technical terms, in particular in connection with the allocation of access passwords, data transmission, malware and other security-relevant aspects. In addi- tion, the Client shall have appropriate data security policies and shall also execute the same regularly.
