Securitization Unwind Sample Clauses
A Securitization Unwind clause outlines the process and conditions under which a securitization transaction is reversed or unwound. Typically, this clause specifies the steps for repurchasing or redeeming the underlying assets, the parties responsible for various actions, and the timing and triggers for the unwind, such as default events or regulatory changes. Its core practical function is to provide a clear mechanism for dissolving the securitization structure, thereby protecting the interests of both originators and investors in scenarios where continuing the arrangement is no longer viable or desirable.
