Common use of Section 9 Clause in Contracts

Section 9. 6.1. 30 Upon recommendation of the immediate supervisor through administrative channels to the 31 Superintendent, and upon approval of the Board of Directors, an employee may be granted a 32 leave of absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year; provided, however, if such leave is 33 granted due to extended illness, one (1) additional year may be granted.

Applicant cannot be gainfully 33 employed on another job unless mutually agreed by the District and the employee.

Section 9. 6.19.1. 30 14 Upon recommendation of the immediate supervisor through administrative channels to the 31 15 Superintendent, and upon approval of the Board of Directors, an employee may be granted a 32 16 leave of absence without pay for a period not to exceed one (1) year; provided, however, if such 17 leave is 33 granted due to extended illness, one (1) additional year may be granted.
