Section 8.2.5 Sample Clauses

Section 8.2.5. 33 Security personnel may cash out vacation leave on non-school attendance days, winter and 34 spring break or summer vacation, provided however, that requests for vacation leave may be 35 approved at other times as mutually agreed between the employee and the employee's 36 supervisor. Vacation time for security personnel will be calculated at the end of each year 37 based on hours worked during that school year for use or cash out the following year. 39 Section 8.3. Annual Leave Sharing.
Section 8.2.5. All hours worked will be counted in the computation of vacation credit, and hours worked 35 at premium rates shall be counted as straight time hours in such computation.

Section 8.2.5. 40 It is also mutually agreed that vacations for annual employees shall be scheduled at the request 41 of the employee unless such vacation time would disrupt the normal activities of the District. 44 45
Section 8.2.5. 7 It is agreed that for purposes of vacation accrual, such accrual shall take place on September 1st of 8 each year.
Section 8.2.5. 3 Less than twelve (12) month employees shall be encouraged to utilize accrued vacation credits on the 4 same basis as twelve (12) month employees, except that the District shall be entitled to deny vacation 5 usage on student attendance days where the employee’s absence would place an unreasonable 6 hardship on the District. Unreasonable hardship shall be mutually understood as the lack of a 7 qualified replacement at an equal or lower cost for an employee with a unique skill set. Unused 8 vacation credits for less than twelve (12) month employees shall be treated as “in lieu of vacation 9 credit” and shall be cashed out in the June check. Section 8.2.5. 27 For every regular workday from which an employee is absent on sick leave, bereavement leave, 28 emergency leave, or due to a holiday, the hours of the employee’s normal work shift shall be 29 credited for computing vacation credit as if worked.
