Section 7.3.2. First Shift Sample Clauses
Section 7.3.2. First Shift defines the terms and conditions governing the first work shift for employees or contractors under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the start and end times of the first shift, the days it applies, and any specific requirements or expectations for personnel scheduled during this period. For example, it may specify that the first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and detail any mandatory breaks or reporting procedures. The core function of this clause is to establish clear expectations for work schedules, thereby minimizing confusion and ensuring consistent operations.
Section 7.3.2. First Shift. 2 The first shift shall consist of eight and one-half (8-1/2) hours, including a thirty (30) minute 3 uninterrupted lunch period as near the middle of the shift as is practical, and also including a 4 fifteen (15) minute first half and a fifteen (15) minute second half rest period, both of which 5 rest periods shall occur as near the middle of each half shift as is practical.
