Section 27.01. All permanent full-time bargaining unit employees shall be entitled to the following holidays with pay: New Year’s Day January 1 ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ Day 3rd Monday in January Presidents’ Day 3rd Monday in February Memorial Day Last Monday in May Independence Day July 4 Labor Day 1st Monday in September Columbus Day 2nd Monday in October Veterans’ Day November 11 Thanksgiving Day 4th Thursday in November Day After Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Day December 25 Floating Holiday One Day Section 27.02. In the event that any of the aforementioned holidays fall on Saturday, the Friday immediately preceding shall be observed as the holiday. In the event that any of the aforementioned holidays fall on Sunday, the Monday immediately succeeding shall be observed as the holiday.
