Section 17.6. 18 1. Underpayments must be reported by the employee to the payroll office. Underpayments 19 reported within five (5) business days of the pay day (the last business day of the month), will 20 be corrected in five (5) to seven (7) business days from the date the error is reported. 22 Underpayments reported more than five (5) days after pay day will be corrected on the next 23 scheduled pay day. 24
Section 17.6. 13 All paraeducators shall be scheduled and compensated for one planning day per year which shall be 14 scheduled previous to the first day of instruction each year. This day may be included as one of the 15 normal one hundred eighty (180) instructional days; the District may elect to reduce scheduled hours 16 during times when students are not at school up to the number of hours scheduled for this planning day.
Section 17.6. 12 Employees shall receive annual compensation in twelve (12) monthly payments. Additional hours 13 worked over the “budgeted” hours shall be added onto each month’s base pay.
Section 17.6. 7 For purposes of calculating daily hours, time worked shall be rounded to the next one-quarter (1/4) hour. 9 Section 17.7. 10 Any employee required to travel from one site to another in a private vehicle during working hours shall 11 be reimbursed for such travel on a per-mile basis at the prevailing State rate. Proper authorization by the 12 District will be required.

Section 17.6. 26 Parties agree that each has had the opportunity and unlimited right to make proposals with respect to 28 Agreement. Strike and work stoppage shall be deemed to include slowdowns, stoppages of any kind, sit- 43 ins, sick-ins, refusals to perform work, or any type of interference whatsoever with the operation of 44 school facilities. 45 46 In the event of any action or violation of this Agreement, the PSE will immediately attempt to secure a 47 return to work of those in violation.
