Section 17.5.1. 14 The district will pay the costs of Random, Post-Accident, and Reasonable Suspicion testing. A 15 split sample testing, at the employee’s request, will be paid by the employee if the test result is 16 positive, by the district if the test result is negative.

Section 17.5.1. The Employer agrees to pay for the cost of the test and the test shall be administered by an 8 independent and qualified laboratory or individual. In the event that an immunoassay test is positive for marijuana or hashish, the Employer agrees to instruct the laboratory to conduct a confirming GC/MS test. The Employer also agrees to instruct the laboratory to conduct the 11 confirming GC/MS test within twenty-four (24) hours (excluding weekends) of the time the 12 Employer is notified of the positive immunoassay test. A weekend shall be deemed to run from 13 5:00 p.m. on Friday to 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
