Employees hired 32 between March 1 and August 31 shall not be eligible to advance on the salary schedule until 33 September 1 of the second school year that follows the school year in which they were 34 employed.

Other work performed will continue to be compensated on the first pay 33 warrant following the payroll cutoff date. Adjustments to pay for the 4.5 hours will occur if an 34 employee takes unpaid leave or when employment is terminated.
