Section 10.7.3. 37 A change in an open position of up to and including thirty (30) minutes per day does not 38 constitute a reposting. The posting shall note if the original time has been changed, what the 39 changes are, and date of the change. Any changes shall be highlighted on the posting. Changes 40 cannot be made within twenty-four (24) hours of the day the posting is pulled. 41
Section 10.7.3. 41 Each employee who transfers to a new position shall remain in a performance trial status for a 42 period not to exceed thirty (30) work days following the transfer. During this performance 43 trial, the District may require, or the employee may elect for justifiable cause, to return to the 44 previous position.
Section 10.7.3. 47 Positions open temporarily due to employee injury or granted leave of absence under Sections 9.8 48 and 9.9, reasonably anticipated for a period longer than forty (40) workdays shall be posted on a 1 temporary basis for regular employees. Employees are eligible to apply if the assignment would 2 result in the employee receiving additional compensation (excluding overtime opportunities).

Section 10.7.3. 26 The employee will retain accrued sick leave, vested vacation rights, and seniority rights while on 27 leave of absence. However, vacation credits, sick leave, and seniority shall not accrue while the 28 employee is on leave of absence.

Employees are eligible to apply if the assignment would result in the employee 16 receiving additional compensation (excluding overtime opportunities). When moving to a higher 17 classification, preference will be shown for in-building candidates before Section 10.4 applies. If no 18 employee, either in the building or in the custodial unit accepts the temporary position, the District will 19 advertise the position as temporary and may fill it from the outside.
Section 10.7.3. 40 The District may offer additional supplemental programs (“summer work”). Additional 41 compensation will be offered and timesheeted “Summer Work” is awarded by 42 building/program/seniority. Staff working at the location and/or within the program will be 43 offered assignments prior to posting for other bargaining unit employees.
Section 10.7.3. 42 The District may not lay off a senior employee before a junior employee in any general job
