Second Reading Without Changes. At the next regularly scheduled meeting, the proposed amendment will be read to the membership a second time. If the amendment is accepted without any modifications at its second reading, the presiding officer will call for a vote on the proposed amendment. The amendment will be approved for a vote by the general membership with a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of those members present. The proposed amendment will be ratified or rejected by a special vote by the general membership at a time and place(s) designated by the Executive Board.
