SECOND EVALUATION Clause Samples
The "Second Evaluation" clause establishes a process for conducting a follow-up assessment or review after an initial evaluation has taken place. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances under which a second evaluation may be requested, who is responsible for conducting it, and the timeframe in which it must occur. For example, if a party disputes the findings of the first evaluation, they may invoke this clause to seek a re-examination by an independent expert. The core function of this clause is to provide a structured mechanism for resolving disagreements or uncertainties that arise from the initial evaluation, thereby promoting fairness and accuracy in the assessment process.
SECOND EVALUATION. No later than six (6) school months subsequent to issuance of the initial evaluation report pursuant to C.27.2, employees who have been placed on probation may receive a second evaluation. This evaluation shall be conducted in accordance with the whole of Article C.25.
SECOND EVALUATION. At the end of three (3) quarters, the tenure review committee will review performance. The completed evaluation shall be submitted to the Vice President of Instruction within two months. If the tenure review committee determines the instructor’s performance remains unsatisfactory, the Association President and Vice President of Instruction may mutually agree to extend the professional growth intervention process for a specified number of instructional quarters, after which the tenure review committee will again review performance. Alternately, the administration may initiate dismissal procedures as specified in RCW 28B.50.
SECOND EVALUATION. The second evaluation for all members where adverse personnel action is contemplated shall be completed no later than March 1.
SECOND EVALUATION. (1) If the second evaluation is requested by the unit member, the program director will discuss the Summary Evaluation of Performance with the unit member. The conference will be held within five (5) working days after director receipt of the evaluation.
(2) If the unit member still disagrees with the evaluation, the program director will give the unit member a choice of three administrators to conduct the second evaluation. The unit member must select one of the three within seven (7) days.
(3) The procedures for the unit member’s second evaluation will be followed exactly as the original evaluation procedures.
(4) All conclusions and the overall summary from the second evaluation are final. There is no appeal.
