Common use of Screening Test Clause in Contracts

Screening Test. 1. The BAT will open an individually sealed, disposable mouth piece in view of the employee to blow forcefully into the mouth piece for at least six seconds or until an adequate amount of breath has been obtained. 2. Following the screening test, the BAT must show the employee the result displayed on the EBT or a printed result. If the result of the screening test is an alcohol concentration of less than 0.02, no further testing is required and the test will be reported to the Sheriff as a negative test. The employee may then return to his/her duties.
