Common use of Scope Exclusions Clause in Contracts

Scope Exclusions. The following services are not included under this Agreement, and will be furnished by others or their agent, as noted: • Architectural design or site work associated with proposed facilities (i.e. architectural renderings, sketches, elevations, footings/ foundations, etc.) • As-built surveys or construction staking • Electrical or mechanical engineering • Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) • GDOT coordination and permitting. • Improvements to any existing public rights-of-way or utilities that may be additional requirements by the city that have not been identified elsewhere in this scope and would not exclusively serve the development. • Railroad coordination and encroachment agreements • Sanitary sewer and/or water distribution system design • Services associated with variances, waivers, modifications and/or any relief from local, state, or federal regulations. • Services related to air, solid waste, and/or hazardous waste permits. • Services related to any design changes that resulted major re-design of the accepted design development document. Any rework due to such changes will be charged at an agreed hourly rate as additional services. • Services related to noise abatement or endangered species. • Services related to rezoning or annexation of property. • Services requiring FEMA approvals such as CLOMAR; A LOMAR and ASBUILT survey. • Soft-surface Trail Design • Structural engineering and geotechnical engineering • Traffic engineering, signal design, or traffic studies and/or signal warrants • Variance or Special Use Permits for the development. • Water collections for water quality samples or submittals to NPDES for water quality monitoring reports • Wetland delineation and Army Corps permitting for disturbance within jurisdictional wetlands.
