Scope and Principles Sample Clauses

The 'Scope and Principles' clause defines the boundaries and fundamental guidelines governing the agreement. It typically outlines which parties, activities, or subject matter are covered, and sets forth the key values or standards—such as compliance with laws, good faith, or ethical conduct—that will guide the interpretation and execution of the contract. By clearly establishing what is included and the principles to be followed, this clause ensures all parties have a shared understanding of the agreement’s reach and the foundational rules, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes.
