Common use of Scope and Limits Clause in Contracts

Scope and Limits. The Grantee shall maintain, and by its acceptance of the Franchise specifically agrees that it will maintain, at its own cost and expense, throughout the Term of the Franchise, (a) commercial general and (b) auto liability insurance insuring the Grantor and the Cable Board as additional insureds, and the Grantee as the named insured in the minimum amount of $5,000,000 for bodily injury (including death) and/or property damage in any one occurrence. This limit may include a self-insured retention and may be increased by mutual agreement of the parties. Grantee shall also maintain workers compensation insurance or state approved self-insurance as provided by Applicable Law. The required limit of insurance may be met with any combination of self-insured retention, primary insurance and umbrella/excess insurance.
