Scheduling Patterns and Preferences. On each unit, nurse management shall work with one (1) bargaining unit nurse on the unit to build schedule patterns in order to preserve transparency and collaboration between the Medical Center and the Association on scheduling practices. The bargaining unit nurse will collaborate with the nurse manager so that an appropriate amount of paid time will be allocated to create a unit schedule. The nurse manager will approve final schedule patterns. Upon request, a copy of the originally posted schedule will be provided. It is the responsibility of each individual Registered Nurse to inform the Medical Center of their availability, and preferences with respect to work schedules.
