Common use of Satisfactory Proof Clause in Contracts

Satisfactory Proof. Regular employees may be required to submit satisfactory proof to the Employer of any illness, non-occupational accident, or quarantine, for absences in excess of three (3) working days. The Employer reserves the right to ask for satisfactory proof whenever it suspects a pattern of sick leave abuse. The Employer will reimburse doctor’s notes up to a maximum of $100.00 a year for full-time employees and $50.00 a year for part-time employees. Doctor’s notes for documented habitual absenteeism will not be reimbursed. The Employer will advise the employee when the employee is no longer eligible for the reimbursement.
