Common use of Safety Net Clause in Contracts

Safety Net. The publicly funded Behavioral Health Services and providers that have either historically received or currently receive funding appropriated to the Department by the General Appropriations Act (GAA). The Safety Net is intended to provide funding to Network Service Providers for expenditures that would otherwise be uncompensated costs for services provided to individuals in need of services.
