Room Access. Regularly scheduled and unannounced routine room inspections may be held by authorized Residence Hall personnel (or their delegated representatives) for maintenance, safety, health, and sanitation purposes. No drawers, wardrobes, or personal items will be opened. Authorized personnel may enter your room for purposes of maintenance or in response to emergencies, without notice.
Room Access. The University of Delaware reserves the right, at any time and for any reason, in its sole discretion, to enter the room without prior notice to the Intern to make repairs; to inspect for compliance with health, fire, or building codes or with University of Delaware policies or regulations; or because of any situation that the University of Delaware, in it sole discretion, deems to be a danger to health, safety, or property.
Room Access. The University reserves the right to have authorized University staff, property management personnel, state officials, and other authorized personnel enter the student’s rooms/apartments with prior notice at reasonable times to inspect, maintain, and repair the premises and furnishings. Students are expected to promptly report damages and necessary repairs, in accordance with established and published procedures. In the event of an emergency, notice may be given immediately before entering. In accordance with the Residence Life Handbook, when authorized personnel have a reasonable belief that a violation of a University or Housing regulation, local ordinance, state or federal statute is in progress, and/or other emergency purposes exist, they may enter the student’s rooms/apartments/suites/house without notice. Student’s online submission of this contract constitutes explicit consent for authorized personnel to enter the student’s rooms, apartments, and/or suites without notice for such purposes.
Room Access. Authorized University personnel may enter student rooms for purposes of maintenance, securing facilities for academic breaks, in response to emergencies, safety, health, and sanitation purposes, or when reasonable suspicion exists that a violation of University policy is occurring.
Room Access. The College will, when necessary:
1. Control the use of rooms, with medical direction, in the event of an epidemic, pandemic, or other medical emergency.
2. Place a new roommate into any empty room space at any time during the academic year. Students will receive at least 24 hours’ notice prior to a new roommate moving into their room, unless in emergency situations. After 24 hours, the new roommate will be allowed full access to the room. Students may not prevent or otherwise dissuade a new roommate from moving into the room.
3. Permit appropriate representatives of the College to enter a student’s room for regular maintenance, inspections, emergencies, or other health and safety concerns.
4. The ▇▇▇▇ of Students or designee may authorize entry and search of student rooms in appropriate circumstances. The College shall reasonably attempt to give notice of a search; if the student cannot be reached and is not present during a search, they will be informed by Housing Services that a search occurred and the reasons for the search. The College cannot prevent or prohibit the search of students’ rooms or College premises by law enforcement officers acting in the performance of their duty. It is expected, however, that the ordinary requirements for lawful search will be followed.

Room Access. All teachers will be provided with a key to the room to which they are assigned. All teachers who want to work in district facilities and/or buildings at times other than the regular school hours or days, and who need access to a key or keys to do so, may request and shall be issued the use of such key(s) from the principal of each building. Such key(s) shall provide access to work rooms, restrooms, copying facilities, and interior/exterior access. All persons holding supplemental contract positions shall be issued a key to the building and the room in which they perform their duties. Keys will be issued to bargaining unit members at the beginning of each school year(s) and will be collected at the end of each year. During the period of any strike or other work stoppage, bargaining unit members will turn in keys. Teachers using keys under this section shall sign upon receipt of such key(s). A teacher who needs a key for a limited time shall be issued a key or keys prior to the date needed, and shall return such key(s) to the building principal on the school day next following the date of use of said keys. In order to maintain security of the buildings, keys are the property of the Board and shall not be duplicated. An individual's access privileges may be revoked for loss, misuse, or unauthorized duplication of keys. Teachers shall not allow students or other non-school personnel to use room or building keys. Any teacher who loses a key will pay for the cost to rekey all locks in which their key works. Any worn out or broken key shall be replaced by the Board at no cost to the teacher.
Room Access. The Park District reserves the right, at any time and for any reason, in its sole discretion, to enter the room/premises without prior notice to Intern in circumstances deemed by the Park District to be a danger to health, safety or property. Prior notice will be given to the Intern by the Park District if entry is needed for repairs or less urgent matters.
Room Access. If your room has the electrical breaker box, or the attic access panel, Life Door reserves the right to access your room without permission, but with notice, any time one of the before mentioned areas is needing to be accessed for maintenance purposes.
