Common use of Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions Clause in Contracts

Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions. Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) each contract for goods or works estimated to cost the equivalent of $500,000 or more procured on the basis of International Competitive Bidding; and (b) each contract for goods or works estimated to cost the equivalent of $250,000 or more procured on the basis of National Competitive Bidding; (c) every contract for goods or works procured on the basis of Direct Contracting; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more; (e) each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (f) every contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm procured on the basis of Single Source Selection. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

Review by the World Bank of Procurement Decisions. The Procurement Plan shall set forth those contracts which shall be subject to the World Bank’s Prior Review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank. Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) the first contract to be awarded in accordance with the each procurement method and all Terms of Reference (ToRs) for selection of consultants (individual and firms); (b) each contract for goods or and works estimated to cost the equivalent of $500,000 100,000 or more procured on the basis of International Competitive Bidding; and (b) each contract for goods or works estimated to cost the equivalent of $250,000 or more procured on the basis of National Competitive Biddingmore; (c) every contract for goods or works procured on the basis of Direct Contracting; (d) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more; (e) more and each contract for consultants’ services provided by an individual estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (f) every contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm procured on the basis of Single Source Selection. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.

Except as the World Bank shall otherwise determine by notice to the Recipient, the following contracts shall be subject to Prior Review by the World Bank: (a) each contract for goods or works estimated to cost the equivalent of $500,000 300,000 or more procured based on the basis of International Competitive Bidding; and (b) each contract for goods or works estimated to cost the equivalent of $250,000 or more procured on the basis of National Competitive Bidding; (c) every all contracts to be procured by general contractors under Part C of the Project, and the first contract for goods or works to be procured on the basis of Direct Contractingthrough Shopping; (db) each contract for consultants’ services provided by a firm estimated to cost the equivalent of $100,000 or more; (e) each contract and all contracts for consultants’ services provided by an a firm selected based on single-source basis; and (c) each contract for consultant’s services provided by individual consultant estimated to cost the equivalent of $50,000 or more; and (f) every contract all contracts for consultants’ consultant’s services provided by a firm procured an individual selected based on sole-source basis. In addition, the basis terms of Single Source Selectionreference for consulting services, regardless of their contract value or procurement method, will be subject to the World Bank’s prior review. All other contracts shall be subject to Post Review by the World Bank.
