Common use of Reversal of Regulatory Allocations Clause in Contracts

Reversal of Regulatory Allocations. To the extent that any item of income, gain, loss or deduction has been specially allocated pursuant to paragraphs (a), through (e) of this Section 1.5 and such allocation is inconsistent with the way in which the same amount otherwise would have been allocated under Section 1.3 of this Exhibit, subsequent allocations under said Section 1.3 shall be made, to the extent possible and without duplication in a manner consistent with the Treasury Regulations under Code Section 704(b), which negate as rapidly as possible the effect of all such inconsistent allocations under paragraphs (a) through (e). This Section 1.5(g) shall be interpreted and applied in such a manner and to such extent as is reasonably necessary to eliminate, as quickly as possible, permanent economic distortions that would otherwise occur as a consequence of the allocations pursuant to paragraphs (a) through (e) of this Section 1.5, in the absence of this Section 1.5(g).
