Return to Work Supplement Sample Clauses
A Return to Work Supplement clause establishes additional financial or support benefits for employees who are returning to work after a period of absence, such as due to injury or illness. This clause may specify eligibility criteria, the type and amount of supplement provided, and the duration for which the benefit is available. Its core function is to ease the transition back to employment, helping employees reintegrate smoothly and addressing potential financial or logistical challenges during their return.
Return to Work Supplement. Where an Employee has taken a period of unpaid parental leave of at least 6 months, during which they were the primary care giver for the child, upon ending the parental leave and returning to work with regular hours of at least 15 hours per week, Estia Health shall allow the Employee up to 15 hours per week paid absence from work per week, for 10 weeks.
Return to Work Supplement. Where a permanent Employee has taken a period of unpaid parental leave of at least 6 months, during which they were the primary care giver for the child, upon ending the parental leave and returning to work with regular hours of at least 15 hours per week, Estia Health will provide the Employee with 15 hours of paid leave per week for a period of 10 weeks. For clarity, the paid leave:
(a) Is not pro-rated for part-time Employees; and
(b) will be considered ordinary time paid at the Base Rate but is not time so worked and will not attract an overtime penalty rate. Where an Employee was employed part time prior to taking the relevant period of parental leave, the entitlement in this clause 60 shall be pro rata based on the Employee's part time hours prior to taking parental leave compared to full time ordinary hours.
