Common use of Return to Work Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Return to Work Responsibility. a) During the Own Occupation Period, no LTD Benefits will be paid for any period of Disability when you are able to work in your Own Occupation and able to earn at least 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, but you elect not to work. b) During the Any Occupation Period, no LTD Benefits will be paid for any period of Disability when you are able to work in Any Occupation and are able to earn at least 80% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings, but elect not to work. c) Any earnings you receive from work you perform, or that you could receive if you worked as much as you are able to considering your Disability, that are less than 100% of your Indexed Predisability Earnings will be treated as Work Earnings.
