Common use of Return/Destruction Clause in Contracts

Return/Destruction. Upon termination or expiration of the Underlying Agreement, or earlier upon written request by Company, Service Provider agrees to return or destroy all Personal Data received or created pursuant to the Underlying Agreement, to the extent permitted by law. 14.1. Service Provider agrees to promptly notify Company of any inability to return or destroy Personal Data. 14.2. Service Provider agrees that any Personal Data retained as required by law shall remain subject to the requirements of this Addendum, which shall survive termination of the Underlying Agreement with respect to such data.
