Common use of Retention of Records Clause in Contracts

Retention of Records. City, through any authorized representative, will have access to and the right to examine and copy all records, books, papers or documents related to services rendered under this Contract. Consultant will retain all books and records related to the services performed for a period of not less than the greater of any applicable federal law retention requirement or five (5) years following termination of this Contract.
