Restriction Clause Clause Samples

A Restriction Clause is a contractual provision that limits or prohibits certain actions or behaviors by one or more parties to the agreement. Typically, this clause may restrict activities such as competing with the other party, disclosing confidential information, or transferring rights and obligations without consent. For example, it might prevent an employee from working for a competitor within a specific geographic area for a set period after leaving a company. The core practical function of a Restriction Clause is to protect the interests of the parties by clearly defining boundaries and reducing the risk of conflicts or misuse of sensitive information.
