The Resident Engineer Approval clause grants the resident engineer the authority to review and approve specific aspects of a construction project, such as materials, workmanship, or completed work segments. Resident Engineer Approval. The Consultant agrees to furnish the name and qualifications of the Resident Engineer in writing for approval of the participating agencies prior to the preconstruction conference that shall attend said preconstruction conference and shall perform the various professional engineering services required of the Resident Engineer in 2.b. thru 2.f. below and inspection of construction.
Resident Engineer Approval. If the Change Order request does not result in an increase in the Estimated Cost, the RE shall either approve or reject the Change Order in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving Subdivider’s written notice, provided Subdivider has submitted complete documentation substantiating the need for such Change Order. If City fails to respond to Subdivider’s written notice within the fourteen (14) calendar days, the Change Order request shall automatically be deemed denied.
Resident Engineer Approval. All changes and or substitutions proposed during construction by Developer must be submitted to the RE for review. If the requested change does not affect, in any way, the construction cost, Project Schedule, or Project Improvements quality established by the GDP, and Plans and Specifications, the RE shall either approve or reject the Change Order in writing within five (5) Working Days of receiving Developer’s written notice, provided Developer has submitted complete documentation substantiating the need for such Change Order. If the RE fails to respond to Developer’s written request within the five (5) Working Days, the Change Order request shall be deemed denied.
